Most kids love board games. It's a great way to pass the time on a cold, rainy day when it's too wet to play anything outside. It's also a great way to get the whole family together for a game night.

However, sometimes it can be difficult to find games that aren't too challenging for the younger kids in your family. Well, Thomas the train games are perfect for younger and older family members. These games with Thomas and his Friends are not only fun, but educational as well. The best part is, there are so many different ones to choose from, and they all teach your children something new in an entertaining way.

There are board games, card games, dominoes, flash cards, tic tac toe games, and more.

Whether you want a game that focuses on strategy, writing, letters, numbers, colors or just for fun, Thomas has it. There are also little games that are perfect to bring on those long car rides.

Thomas and his friends have games appropriate for many different ages. The youngest ones usually focus on things such as learning the letters of the alphabet, and memorizing the different colors. These come in board games, flash cards, card games, and even white boards that your children can write on and erase. There are also more advanced games that teach strategy such as dominoes, tic tac toe, and others. These are all well known games, but are made even more fun since they include Thomas and his beloved friends.

These Thomas the train games are fairly cheap as well, some being cheaper than others. You can make a collection of the different games available, and keep them for your grandchildren or great grandchildren.

Not only are they inexpensive, but there's also so much you can do with them. Make up your own rules to the different games, and have your children come up with new versions. This is a great way to expand the limits of your childs imagination, while at the same time having fun spending time with each other.

This column was going to be about digital technology and how it was changing the way movies were being made. I wasn't going to write about computer graphics — done to death, including in this space — but about digital cameras themselves, those small, cheap, portable cameras that record professional images and sound.
